Postman To Deliver

Todays action was small field sizes but quite competitive. My selections ran with credit, with Jackson Cage the winner (5/4F), Kauto The Roc and Avoca Promise both finishing second. Rate Of Knots also ran a cracker in 3rd in the Kent National. Round Won and Evey P were non runners and Ridley Didley running into a brick wall two furlongs from home.
Ride of the day went to Rilly Goschen in the Maiden Hunters chase at Folkestone, somehow managing to get Dust In Time from 6th and about 20 lengths behind turning into the home straight, to reel in the hapless Supa Tramp on the run in. A great and enterprising ride. Attheraces website is the place to see that one.
Tomorrows racing selections in time order: The Cockney Mackem (2.30 Ludlow), So Is She (2.40 Southwell), Molly Round (3.20 Taunton), Laneguy (3.50 Taunton), Calusa Shadow (4.30 Ludlow), Postman (5.10 Southwell), Romantic Queen (5.40 Wolverhampton), Dauntsey Park e/w (6.40 Wolverhampton).
The banker would be The Cockney Mackem. Laneguy I feel will definitely be in the frame at least after not getting knocked about after being badly hampered. Molly Round will run her usual solid race as will Calusa Shadow and Postman. Watch out for Dauntsey Park too, could run well at a big price. The jumps nap is The Cockney Mackem, the overall is probably Postman

Good Luck

  1. Morning Will,
Only a quick posting today. I've napped Molly Round so when the lovely Sam Waley wins on her you'll be completely hacked off !

    Love Mum XX

  2. Hello

Sorry for not posting recently as i have been quite busy!
My selection today was Patsy Finnegan which ran 2nd behind a impressive Fin Vin De Leu. I also was intrigued by Hector's Choice which beat a good horse in Phidippides. Later at Wolves, i am a keen follower and fan of John Potts which runs in the 7:10 race and has strong credentials tonight!
Good luck with your later selections today
