Safe Investment a sure fire winner

Yesterday provided us with a couple of winners, the impressive Complexion at 5/2, Seader at 4/7 and Pint Size winning by 12 lengths at 8/13. We also had Elusive Warrior beaten by a nose, Ravi River a head and Liberty Ship a neck under a badly judged ride.
Ride of the Day went to Jack Mitchell for his ride on Snow Hill at Yarmouth, very well executed after sitting behind a strong early gallop.
Today's 2-a-meeting are: Tahitian Princess (4.10 Catterick) 4TH, Amir Pasha (5.10 Catterick) WON 2/1F, Bakoura (7.50 Leicester) 2ND, Sennockian Storm (9.00 Leicester) UNPLACED, Fantasy Fighter (3.00 Lingfield) UNPLACED, Estonia (3.30 Lingfield) 2ND, Katla (7.30 Naas) WON 7/2, Private Ryan E/W (8.35 Naas) UNPLACED, Mitie Mouse (6.35 Sandown) N/R, Turjuman (8.50 Sandown) UNPLACED, Safe Investment (2.50 Worcester) 3RD, Epee Celeste (5.20 Worcester) 3RD.
The Banker is Safe Investment, who should get the hat-trick. Most of the others look to have solid chances, with Mitie Mouse, who ran behind Frederick Engels at Royal Ascot, looking good in a lot lesser race.
ADVISED BETS
4pts WIN Safe Investment (2.50 Worcester)  4/6 (VC, BlueSQ, Betfred, Bet365) 3RD
0.5pt E/W Koraleva Tectona (3.20 Worcester)  50/1 (Bet365)  UNPLACED

Pint Size just right

Yesterday provided us with a couple of winners, Thundering Home and Giants Quest, with Pegasus Again running into a very well handicapped rival at Windsor. Ride of the Day went to Silvestre De Sousa on the gamble Last Destination at Beverley last night, coming with a ferocious late run to win by 3 lengths.
Todays' 2-a-meeting are: Seader (5.50 Ballinrobe) WON 4/7F, Lock Mor Lad (8.20 Ballinrobe) UNPLACED, Ravi River (7.40 Bangor) 2ND, Sumner (8.10 Bangor) 3RD, Marvo (2.30 Musselburgh) 2ND, Dane Cottage (4.00 Musselburgh) 2ND, Pint Size (6.30 Southwell) WON 8/13F, Elusive Warrior (9.00 Southwell) 2ND, Complexion (2.45 Yarmouth) WON 5/2F and Liberty Ship (4.45 Yarmouth) 2ND
The bankers are Pint Size, Sumner and Seader, with Complexion and Liberty Ship (ridden by Ed Linehan) looking very solid as well. Marvo is a long traveller with the ground to suit and Ravi River should add to Tony McCoy's tally for the season.
ADVISED BETS:
2pts WIN - Seader (5.50 Ballinrobe) WON 4/7F
2pts WIN - Sumner (8.10 Bangor)   3RD
3pts WIN - Pint Size (6.30 Southwell)   WON 8/13F

Fantastic Frankie!

Back after a long break, with some brilliant racing in that time, a brilliant ride by Frankie Dettori yesterday on board Blue Bunting in the Irish Oaks, biding his time to deliver as late as possible. Also, one of my bigger selections of the weekend slaughtered his rivals in the Summer Plate at Market Rasen, Qulinton, who is now heading for the Galway Plate.
Today is a tricky day, here is my 2-a-meeting: Berbice (3.00 Ayr) 3RD 17/2, Jewelled Dagger (3.30 Ayr) 4TH, Giant's Quest (5.50 Ballinrobe) WON 5/6F, Leah Claire (8.50 Ballinrobe) 3RD, Queen's Choice (7.30 Beverley) UNPLACED, Salient (8.00 Beverley) 3RD, Urban Kode (6.10 Windsor) 2ND, Pegasus Again (8.40 Windsor) 2ND 6/1, Thundering Home (4.45 Yarmouth) WON 9/4F and Far Flung (5.15 Yarmouth) UNPLACED
Berbice should run well but is unreliable a times, Jewelled Dagger won easily on stable debut last time and is still on a good mark, Giant's Quest is in good form under National Hunt rules and makes maiden debut under Pat Smullen, Leah Claire is in good form on the Flat and his latest Hurdles performance behind Bagber should be good enough.
Queen's Choice makes its handicap debut and is potentially progressive for Annabel King and Salient is in great form in a weak race. The two at Windsor look very solid selections and George Baker's Thundering Home should go very close at Yarmouth, as should Far Flung.
ADVISED BETS:
Jewelled Dagger 2pts WIN (3.30 Ayr) 4TH
Giant's Quest (WON 5/6F) and Leah Claire (3RD) 1pt WIN Each + 1 pt Double (5.50 Ballinrobe + 8.50 Ballinrobe)
Salient 2pts WIN (8.00 Beverley) 3RD
Pegasus Again 2pts E/W (8.40 Windsor) 2ND 6/1
Thundering Home 1pts WIN (4.45 Yarmouth) WON 9/4F
