Artist To Paint A Winner at Warwick?

Yesterday's action was a mixture of good and dissapointing. Starluck, who won with shed loads in hand and jumped pretty well on his chase debut, now may not go for the Arkle at Cheltenham. Minella Class, didn't seem to like the ground a lot and got turned over by a gutsy Aikman. A rare treble for the Nicky Richards yard up at Ayr, whose yard are definitely springing into life with Cheltenham just around the corner.
In terms of ride of the day yesterday, there can only be one winner, a remarkable ride in a compelling hunters chase at Huntingdon. Mr S Keating, Sam, Shaun, Simon, I don't care, because he gave his horse, Mount Benger, a notouriously tricky customer, a strong, determined and eventful ride. He was last of the seven runners with a circuit to go and under strong reminders like he had been all the way through the first circuit. He was about 10 lengths off the pace when he caught up with the leading three horses as the pace increased down the back straight. He was still giving his mount heavy pressure from then on to the run in, where he fell narrowly behind to the running on Templer, only to then galvanise his mount in the shadow of the post to get back up. A clear advert for the sport, despite the styles of the jockeys involved! To see it, I recommend watching all of it, follow this link http://horses.sportinglife.com/Video/Racing/ and search for Mount Benger on the correct tab.
To my selections yesterday, not the greatest day in the world, but Roche Des Vents, which as I said was my best selection of the day, won at 5/1 at Kempton. A great price.
To today though now and a very tight day in terms of clear selections, quite trappy, but I have still got a few for you: Far View (2.00 Lingfield), Qalinas (1.45 Sandown), Diamond Brook (4.35 Sandown), Dhaafer (2.40 Warwick), Basford Bob (3.15 Warwick), Definite Artist (4.55 Warwick) and Khajaaly (6.25 Wolverhampton)
The nap is Definite Artist, who I thought ran a cracking race behind a top looking bumper horse of Emma Lavelle's last time at Taunton, and should improve for the run with the stable going well. Diamond Brook I am sure will finish placed at least at Sandown and I would like to say good luck to Mr Smith, my maths teacher, who is in the syndicate who owns Khajaaly, he has strong credentials.
Well done to Jack with Honourable Arthur yesterday and keep commenting!

Good luck
