Another Tough Saturday

Yesterdays action was as I said in the post, tough and competitive. My selections were very decent, but too many seconds. Far View got us off to a decent start (15/8, well backed) but with Conor O'Farrell not being shown to very good effect again on Qalinas, getting caught up the run in after making his move too early. Dhaafer getting beaten a short head and Khajaaly not quite getting to the all the way leader Northern Flyer. Basford Bob was a close third too but my top two selections were too put it bluntly, naff. Diamond Brook struggled from a long way out and Definite Artist was well tailed off.
In terms of ride of the day, a jockey who may recieve a few of these, Richie McLernon for his perfectly judged and timed run on Money Order to win the long distance chase at Warwick. Very good.
To todays action, with the loss of Chepstow, we are left with three meetings, Kempton, Newcastle and Lingfield.
Every Saturday, I am going to suggest a Scoop6 line, with one horse in each of those races. Today it is 102 Tonic Mellyse, 211 Nubar Boy, 304 Best Prospect, 413 Sagalyrique, 511 Morgan Be, 605 Celtus.
I also have my usual pick of selections: Sagalyrique e/w (3.00 Kempton), County Zen (4.10 Kempton), Qrackers e/w (4.45 Kempton), Categorical (1.40 Newcastle), Best Prospect (2.15 Newcastle), The Tracey Shuffle (5.00 Newcastle) and Even Bolder (3.45 Lingfield).
In terms of Lingfield, if Nubar Boy gets his way in the feature race, he could definitely be one to have on side. Even Bolder has a very strong chance as I think he will come off the strong pace which will be set by Billy Red and Sir Geoffrey. At Newcastle, all 3 of the selections have very strong claims in my view, especially Best Prospect, who cantered up in this race two years ago. And at Kempton, I reckon Qrackers could run well in the 4.45 after a good run off a big weight last time.
I would nap Even Bolder overall, but The Tracey Shuffle on the Jumps

Good luck
P.S. Happy Birthday Jack, keep commenting!!
