Oscar Magic some ante post sparkle

Today's racing was very tricky, as it proved with only one winner for us, Baile Anrai at 4/7F. Wrecking Crew very nearly reeled in Little Richard, who won on his 100th career start aged 12. He will be getting his head in front soon. Ride of the Day was very stand-out but it went again to Henry Brooke for his ride on Alexander Road at Carlisle.
Tomorrow we have 4 jumps meetings plus the usual fair from Wolverhampton. These are the selections: Bubbly Breeze (3.55 Ayr), Instigator (5.40 Ayr), Double The Trouble (4.50 Leicester), Home (2.20 Sandown), Life Of A Luso e/w (2.35 Wincanton), Senses (4.20 Wincanton), Jayne's Crusader (4.55 Wincanton), Duar Mapel (8.50 Wolverhampton).
I think the big chances are with Instigator at Ayr, who makes his first start in the UK coming over from Ireland, Home, who reverts to hurdles after a nice win on the Flat, Jayne's Crusader, who will love the top of the ground and Duar Magel who was unlucky last time.
In terms of Cheltenham, a few more ante post selections: Chartreux in the Pertemps Final, Oscar Magic in the Bumper (he has beaten Imperial Commander in a gallop and could be the next Cue Card?) and For Non Stop in the Coral Cup has very solid form. Also Roi Du Mee and Qhilimar in the Byrne Plate and Kim Muir are attractive.
Jumps nap is Instigator, overall is Duar Magel

Good Luck

  1. Hey Will
I agree with you on Senses at Winc. It was nearly my nap of the day however I've gone for Kells Belle in the first race there.
Thank you for the Chelt selections. What price is Non Stop likely to be? Need a sneaky irish job aswell - What is Dermot Weld bringing over?
    Good Luck Love Mum XX
